AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Joseph L. Pohl,
Contractor, for the construction of sanitary sewers in Subdistrict
No. 131 (Lawrence Drive West) with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Joseph L. Pohl, Contractor, as the lowest
responsible bidder, for the construction of sanitary sewers in
Subdistrict No. 131 (Lawrence Drive West) of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the
17th day of July, 1962 and formally executed on the 19th day of
July, 1962 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and
the Acting Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the
following form:
Ord. No. 798
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 20, 1962.
