HomeMy Public PortalAbout00802AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1193 O R D I N A N C E NO. 802 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 50 (Reavis and Vira) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 50 (Reavis and Vira). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 50 (Reavis and Vira) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 REAVIS & VIRA Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Rock Hill Road, 40' wide, and the southwest prolongation of the northwest line of Block B of Reavis Place Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 6 of Page 54 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along said centerline of Rock Hill Road to its intersection with the eastern prolongation of the north line of Lot 3 of Maelln Place Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 22 on Page 94 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along said produced line and said north line of Lot 3 to the west line of said Lot 3; thence southwardly along the west line of Lots 3, 4, and 8 to the westernmost corner of said Lot 8; thence southwestwardly along the northwest lines of Lots 9, 10 and 11 of said Maelln Place Subdivision to the northwest corner of said Lot 11; thence southwardly along the west line of said Lot 11 and along the southern prolongation of said west line of Lot 11 to its intersection with the western prolongation of the south line of Big Bend Park Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 8, page 135 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along a straight line to the northwest corner of Lot 39 in Webster Downs Addition Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 54 on Page 39 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the north line of Lots 39 and 38 in said subdivision to the northeast corner of said Lot 38; thence northwardly along a straight line to the southeast corner of Lot 15 in said Big Bend Park Subdivision; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Big Bend Park Subdivision to the southeast corner of Lot 20 in said subdivision; 3 thence northwardly along the east line of Lots 20 and 19 to the northwest corner of property now or formerly owned by Donald E. and Patricia Ann Hardin as recorded in Deed Book 3146 on Page 268 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Hardin property and continuing along the eastern prolongation of said north line to the centerline of Rock Hill Road; thence northwestwardly along the centerline of said Rock Hill Road to its intersection with the southwestern prolongation of the southeast line of property now or formerly owned by J. Francis and Constance C. Richardson as recorded in Deed Book 2455 of Page 444 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along said prolongation and along the southeast line of said Richardson property to the southwest line of Lot 20 in Block C of Reavis Place Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 6 on Page 54 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Lot 20 and continuing along the northwestern prolongation of said southwest line to the centerline of Reavis Avenue; thence northeastwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the southeastern prolongation of the northeast line of Lot 14 in Block B of said Reavis Place Subdivision; thence northwestwardly along said prolongation and along the northeast line of said Lot 14 to the northernmost corner of said Lot 14; thence southwestwardly along the northwest line of said Block B of said Reavis Place Subdivision and along the southwestern prolongation of said northwest line to the point of beginning. 4 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 30, 1962.
