HomeMy Public PortalAbout00805AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1256 O R D I N A N C E NO. 805 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be know#n as Subdistrict No. 208 (Gardner and Castle) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 208 (Gardner and Castle). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 208 (Gardner and Castle) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 Ord. No. 805 GARDNER AND CASTLE Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Gardner Drive (formerly Chambers Road) with the centerline of Castle Drive; thence northwardly along the centerline of said Castle Drive to the centerline of Chambers Road (formerly Walker Drive) thence eastwardly along said centerline of Chambers Road to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the east line of Castle Point as recorded in Plat Book 27, Page 34 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along said prolongation and along said east line of Castle Point to the centerline of Empress Drive; thence westwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the north and south centerline of Block 13 in said Castle Point; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along said north and south centerline to the southeast corner of Lot 29 in said Block 13; thence westwardly along the south line of said Lot 29 to the southwest corner thereof; thence westwardly in a straight line to the southeast corner of Lot 10 in Block 16 of said Castle Point; thence westwardly along the south line of said Lot 10 to the north and south centerline of said Block 16; thence northwardly along said north and south centerline to the south line of Empress Drive; thence northwardly in a straight line to the point of intersection of the north line of said Empress Drive with the north and south centerline of Block 17 in said Castle 3 Point; thence northwardly along said north and south centerline to the south line of Princess Drive; thence northwardly along a straight line to the southeast corner of Lot 28 in Block 18 of said Castle Point; thence northwardly along the east line of Lot 28 and 27 in said Block 18 to the northeast corner of said Lot 27; thence westwardly along the north line of said Lot 27 to the northwest corner thereof; thence westwardly in a straight line to the northeast corner of Lot 2 in Block 35 of Castle Point Unit No. 2 as recorded in Plat Book 28, Page 8 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the north line of said Lot 2 to the northwest corner thereof; thence southwardly along the west line of Lots 2 and 1 in said Block 35 to the southwest corner of said Lot 1; thence southwardly in a straight line to the point of intersection of the south line of Princess Drive with the north and south centerline of Block 34 in said Castle Point Unit No. 2; thence southwardly along said north and south centerline of Block 34 and continuing along the southern prolongation of said north and south centerline of Empress Drive; thence westwardly along the centerline of said Empress Drive to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the west line of Lot 10 in Block 44 of said Castle Point Unit No. 2; thence southwardly along said prolongation and continuing along the west line of Lots 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5 and 4 in said Block 44 to the southwest corner of said Lot 4; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Lot 4 to the southeast corner thereof; thence eastwardly in a straight line to 4 the southwest corner of Lot 17 in Block 33 of said Castle Point Unit No. 2; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Lot 17 to the southeast corner thereof; thence southwardly along the west line of Lots 3, 2 and 1 in said Block 33 to the southwest corner of said Lot 1; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Lot 1 and continuing along the eastern prolongation of said south line to the centerline of Royal Drive; thence southwardly along said centerline of Royal Drive to the centerline of Chambers Road; thence westwardly along the centerline of Chambers Road to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the east line of Lot 2 in Block 23 of said Castle Point; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along the east line of said Lot 2 and continuing along the southern prolongation of said east line to the centerline of an alley just south of said Lot 2; thence eastwardly along the centerline of said alley to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the east line of Lot 20 in said Block 23; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along the east line of Lots 20 and 19 in said Block 23 and continuing along the southern prolongation of said east line of Lot 19 to the centerline of an alley just south of said Lot 19; thence westwardly along the centerline of said alley to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the west line of Lot 17 in said Block 23; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along the west line of said Lot 17 and continuing along the southern prolongation of said west line to the centerline of Gardner Drive; 5 thence eastwardly along the centerline of said Gardner Drive to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 24, 1962.
