AN ORDINANCE, transferring the sum of One Hundred Nine
Thousand Dollars ($109,000.00) from the unappropriated surplus of
the General Fund to the Emergency Fund to repay an advancement
from the Emergency Fund appropriated by Ordinance No. 725, adopted
March 19, 1962.
WHEREAS, the sum of One Hundred Nine Thousand Dollars
($109,000.00) was advanced from the Emergency Fund to provide
matching funds for an urban planning grant under Section 701 of
the Housing Act of 1954, as amended, to prepare a comprehensive
stormwater study of the various watersheds within the boundaries
of the District, as appropriated by Ordinance No. 725, adopted
March 19, 1962,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Nine Thousand Dollars
($109,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated
surplus of the General Fund and is transferred to the Emergency
Fund to provide an available balance to be used for emergencies.
Section Two. This being an appropriation ordinance, it shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 24, 1962.
