HomeMy Public PortalAbout00828 O R D I N A N C E NO. 828 AN ORDINANCE, amending Section Two of Ordinance No. 491, adopted January 5, 1961, and revising the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 121 (Georgian Acres Trunk) of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 491, adopted January 5, 1961, is hereby amended by eliminating from the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 121 (Georgian Acres Trunk), as set forth in Section Two thereof, the area described as follows: Beginning at a point, said point being the southwest corner of Lot 3 in Country Estates Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 74 on page 10 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the west line of said Lot 3 to the northwest corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Lot 3 a distance of 36.5 feet to a point; thence southwardly in a straight line to the point of beginning, for the reason that the Board of Trustees finds that such property is beyond the area capable of being efficiently served by the proposed sewer facilities to be constructed in such subdistrict. Section Two. Section Two of said Ordinance No. 491, as amended, shall read as follows: "Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 121 (Georgian Acres Trunk) shall be as follows: 2 Ord. No. 828 GEORGIAN ACRES TRUNK Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Clayton Road, 60 feet wide, and the northern prolongation of the east line of Huntleigh Downs Amended Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 34 on Page 4 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along the east line of said Huntleigh Downs Amended Subdivision to the southeast corner of said Subdivision; thence westwardly along the south line of said Subdivision for a distance of 600 feet to a point; thence southwestwardly in a straight line to the northeast corner of Lot 9 in Chipper Road Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 45 on Page 14 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the north line of Lots 9, 8, 7 and 6 of said Subdivision to the northwest corner of said Lot 6; thence northwardly in a straight line to the southwest corner of Lot 8 in Country Estates Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 74 on Page 10 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the west line of said Lot 8 and along the northern prolongation of said west line to the centerline of Country Estates Place; thence westwardly along the centerline of said Country Estates Place to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the west line of property conveyed to Arthur W. Trulaske by deed recorded as Daily #212 on January 2, 1959, St. 3 Louis County Recorder's Office; thence northwardly along said prolongation and along said west line of said Trulaske property to the northwest corner thereof; thence westwardly along the north line of said Country Estates Subdivision and along the western prolongation of said north line to the centerline of Geyer Road; thence northwardly along the centerline of said Geyer Road to its intersection with the western prolongation of the south line of Lot 15 of Georgian Acres Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 33 on Page 4 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said prolongation and along the south line of said Lot 15 to the southeast corner of said Lot 15; thence northwardly along the west line of said Lot 15 to the southwest corner of Lot 13 of said Georgian Acres Subdivision; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Lot 13 to the southeast corner of said Lot 13; thence northwardly along the east line of said Lot 13 and along the northern prolongation of said east line to the centerline of Clayton Road; thence eastwardly along said centerline of Clayton Road to the point of beginning. 4 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 10, 1962.
