HomeMy Public PortalAbout00829 AMENDED - SEE ORDINANCE NO. 862 O R D I N A N C E NO. 829 AN ORDINANCE, amending Section Two of Ordinance No. 492, adopted January 5, 1961, and revising the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 122 (Huntleigh Downs Lateral) of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 492, adopted January 5, 1961, is hereby amended by eliminating from the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 122 (Huntleigh Downs Lateral), as set forth in Section Two thereof, the area described as follows: Beginning at a point, said point being the southwest corner of Lot 3 in Country Estates Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 74 on page 10 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the west line of said Lot 3 to the northwest corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Lot 3 a distance of 36.5 feet to a point; thence southwardly in a straight line to the point of beginning, for the reason that the Board of Trustees finds that said lot is beyond the area capable of being efficiently served by the facilities proposed to be constructed in such Subdistrict. Section Two of Said Ordinance No. 492, as amended, shall read as follows: Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 122 (Huntleigh Downs Lateral) shall be as follows: 2 (SEE NEXT PAGE) Ord. No. 829 HUNTLEIGH DOWNS LATERAL Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Clayton Road, 60 feet wide, and the northern prolongation of the east line of Huntleigh Downs Amended Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 34 on Page 4 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along the east line of said Huntleigh Downs Amended Subdivision to the southeast corner of said Subdivision; thence westwardly along the south line of said Subdivision to the east line of Country Estates Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 74 on Page 10 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the east line of said Country Estates Subdivision and along the southern prolongation of said east line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 200 feet south of the south line of said Country Estates Subdivision, said 200 feet being measured at right angles to said south line; thence westwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the west line of Lot 8 in said Country Estates Subdivision; thence northwardly along the southern prolongation of said west line and along the west line of said Lot 8 and along the northern prolongation of said west line to the centerline of Country 3 Estates Place; thence westwardly along the centerline of said Country Estates Place to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the west line of property conveyed to Arthur W. Trulaske by deed recorded as Daily #212 on January 2, 1959, St. Louis County Recorder's Office; thence northwardly along said prolongation and along the west line of said Trulaske property to the northwest corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Subdivision to a point, said point being 240.30 feet west of the west line of said Huntleigh Downs Amended Subdivision, as measured along the north line of said Country Estates Subdivision; thence northwardly in a straight line to a point on the south line of Clayton Road, said point being 240.76 feet west of the west line of said Huntleigh Downs Amended Subdivision, as measured along said south line of Clayton Road; thence northwardly along the northern prolongation of the last mentioned straight line to the centerline of said Clayton Road; thence eastwardly along said centerline of Clayton Road to the point of beginning. 4 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 10, 1962.
