AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to include an area of St. Louis County which
could be efficiently served by the sewer and drainage facilities
of the District.
WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The Metro-
politan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from the owners
of the land in said area who own all of the land area therein; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins and is totally in a watershed
within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and can drain
all of its sanitary sewage into sewers within the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer facilities
of the District can efficiently serve the area described as
follows:
Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of
the centerlines of Patterson Road, 40 feet wide, and Wiethaupt
Road, 40 feet wide, said point of intersection being a point on
the existing boundary line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District; thence southwestwardly along the centerline of Patterson
Road, said centerline being also a part of the existing boundary
line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District South 37o West,
a distance of 1125.96 feet to a point; thence South 55o 28' West a
distance of 217.80 feet to a point; thence South 38o 23' West a
distance of 1055.34 feet to a point; thence South 35o 52' West a
distance of 144.21 feet, more or less, to its point of
intersection with the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District as amended by Ordinance 345 adopted November
27, 1959; thence North 52o 46' West a distance of 993.16 feet to a
point; thence North 36o 52' East a distance of 1385.14 feet to a
point; thence South 53o 10' East a distance of 417.38 feet to a
point which line is also a part of the North line of Survey 190 of
St. Ferdinand Commonfields; thence North 36o 56' East a distance
of 1146.22 feet to its intersection with the centerline of
Wiethaupt Road; thence southeastwardly along the centerline of
Wiethaupt Road South 53o 01' East a distance of 671.22 feet to its
intersection with the centerline of Patterson Road, said point of
intersection being also a part of the existing boundary line of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation was
signed by the owners of the land in said area who own all of the
land area of the area to be served.
Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to include the
above-described area.
Section Four. Certified copies of this ordinance shall be
filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis County,
the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the Secretary
of State.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 15, 1962.
