AN ORDINANCE, amending Section Two of Ordinance No.
829, adopted September 10, 1962, and revising the boundaries of
Sub-district No. 122 (Huntleigh Downs Lateral) of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 829, adopted September 10,
1962, is hereby amended by revision of Section Two thereof
To detach from Subdistrict No. 122 (Huntleigh Downs
Lateral) an area which has become part of a platted street and
will not be benefited, such area being described as follows:
Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the
south line of the cul-de-sac of Stonington as shown on the
recorded plat of "Stonington", a Subdivision of St. Louis County,
Missouri, as recorded in Plat Book 104, Pages 58 and 59 of the St.
Louis County Records, with a line parallel with and 240.45 feet
west of the east line of said "Stonington"; thence
northeastwardly, northwardly and northwestwardly along said cul-
de-sac, being a curve to the left with a radius of 50 feet to its
intersection with the previously described parallel line; thence
southwardly along said parallel line to the point of beginning,
and
At the request of the owner thereof, to include in said
subdistrict a contiguous area which is capable of being
efficiently served by the subdistrict sanitary sewers, such area

being described as follows: Beginning at a point, said point being
the southwest corner of Lot 6 of "Stonington" as recorded in Plat
Book 104, Pages 58 and 59 of the St. Louis County Records; thence
northwardly and northeastwardly along the west and northwest lines
of said Lot 6 to the northernmost corner thereof, said point also
being a point on the cul-de-sac of Stonington (35' wide); thence
southeastwardly along said cul-de-sac, having a curve to the left
of radius 50 feet to its intersection with a line parallel with
and 240.45 feet west of the east line of said "Stonington"; thence
southwardly along said parallel line to the south line of said Lot
6; thence westwardly along the south line of said Lot 6 to the
point of beginning.
Section Two of said Ordinance No. 829, as hereby
amended, shall read as follows:
Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 122
(Huntleigh Downs Lateral) shall be as follows:

HUNTLEIGH DOWNS LATERAL
Beginning at a point, said point being the Intersection of the
centerline of Clayton Road, 60 feet wide, and the northern
prolongation of the east line of Huntleigh Downs Amended
Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 34 on Page 4 of the St.
Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said prolongation
and along the east line of said Huntleigh Downs Amended
Subdivision to the south-east corner of said Subdivision; thence
westwardly along the south line of said Subdivision to the east
line of Country Estates Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 74
on Page 10 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly
along the east line of said Country Estates Subdivision and along
the southern prolongation of said east line to its intersection
with a line parallel with and 200 feet south of the south line of
said Country Estates Subdivision, said 200 feet being measured at
right angles to said south line; thence westwardly along said
parallel line to its intersection with the southern prolongation
of the west line of Lot 8 in said Country Estates Subdivision;
thence northwardly along the southern prolongation of said west
line and along the west line of said Lot 8 and along the northern
prolongation of said west line to the centerline of Country
Estates Place; thence westwardly along the centerline of said
Country Estates Place to its intersection with the southern
prolongation of the west line of property conveyed to Arthur in.

Trulaske by deed recorded as Daily #212 on January 2, 1959, St.
Louis County Recorder's Office; thence northwardly along said
prolongation and along the west line of said Trulaske property to
the northwest corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the north
line of said Country Estates Subdivision to the southwest corner
of Lot 6 of "Stonington", a Subdivision in St. Louis County,
Missouri, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 104,
Pages 58 and 59, St. Louis County Recorder's office; thence
northwardly and northeastwardly along the western and northwestern
lines of said Lot 6 to its most northern corner in the
southwestern line of Stonington Cul-de-sac; thence eastwardly.
northwardly and northwestwardly along the front lines of Lots 6, 7
and 8 of said "Stonington", being along a curve with a radius of
50' to the left, a total distance of 205.66, more or less, to its
intersection with a line 240.45' westwardly from and parallel with
the west line of said "Huntleigh Downs Amended" Subdivision;
thence along said last described parallel line and its northern
prolongation to the centerline of Clayton Road; thence eastwardly
along said centerline of Clayton Road to the beginning.
Section Three. An emergency exists within the meaning
of the Plan, by reason of the completion of the sewer improvement
within such subdistrict and the necessity of levying assessments
for the cost. Accordingly, this ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
