AN ORDINANCE appropriating the sum of Seven Thousand Two
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($7,250.00) from the unappropriated surplus
of the General Fund to the Weber Road storm sewer project fund
Account No. 1-3027-A-56 for the construction of storm water inlets
and connecting piping on Weber Road and for the construction of a
storm water relief sewer draining Weber Road near New Hampshire
Avenue in St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 2644, the St. Louis County Council
has authorized the County to enter into a contract with The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to construct and install
necessary additional storm water inlets and connecting pipes on
Weber Road and further construction of a storm water relief sewer
draining Weber Road near New Hampshire Avenue in St. Louis County,
Missouri, and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 2644, the County authorized and
appropriated the sum of Nineteen Thousand Dollars ($19,000. 00) to
construct said sewer, and
WHEREAS, the citizens in this area have deposited with the
District the sum of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00) to pay a
portion of the construction cost of said sewers and inlets, and
WHEREAS, said cost of constructing said sewers is Twenty-
Seven Thousand Dollars ($27,000.00) and the District has agreed to
pay Seven Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($7,250.00) to
furnish the necessary labor to install said sewer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT.
Section One The sum of Seven Thousand Two Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($7,250.00) is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated
surplus of the General Fund to the Weber Road storm sewer project
fund Account No. 1-3027-A-56.
Section Two. All funds deposited by St Louis County and the
citizens residing within the Weber Road New Hampshire Avenue area
for the purpose of constructing said sewers above mentioned in
this ordinance is hereby appropriated to the Weber Road storm
sewer project fund Account No. 1-3027-A-56.
Section Three. This being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 8, 1962.
