AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to Include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and
drainage facilities of the District.
WHEREAS, petitions to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District have been received from the
majority of the owners of the land in said area who own more than
one-half of the land area therein; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins and is in a watershed within
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and can drain all of
its sanitary sewage into sewers within the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
A tract of land in U. S. Survey 2453 and fractional
Sec. 13, T44N., R5E., St. Louis County, Missouri, and described as
follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the
centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard, 100' wide, with the eastern
prolongation of the centerline of West Watson Road, 40' wide;
thence westwardly along said prolongation, and along the
centerline of West Watson Road, and also along its westwardly
prolongation to the south-western corner of property conveyed to
Roy R. Nolting and wife by deed recorded in Book 4256, page 488,
St. Louis County Recorder's office; thence northwardly along the
western line of said Nolting property to its northwestern corner
in the south line of Lot 8 of "Waterhouts Subdivision", a
Subdivision in St. Louis County according to the plat thereof
recorded in plat book 17, page 30, said Recorder's office; thence
eastwardly along the south line of said Lot 8 to the southeastern
corner of property conveyed to F. F. Roediger by deed recorded in
book 4608, page 176, said Recorder's office; thence northwardly
along the east line of said Roediger property to its northeastern
corner in the south line of Court Drive, 50' wide; thence in a
straight line across said Court Drive to the southwestern corner
of property conveyed to Julia C. Dannenbrink by deed recorded in
book 4140, page 633; thence northwardly along the western line of
said Dannenbrink property to its northwestern corner in the south
line of property conveyed to Paul A. Maness by deed recorded in
book 3255, page 184, said Recorder's office; thence eastwardly
along said south line to the southeast corner of said Maness
property; thence northwestwardly along the northeastern line of
said Maness property, and the northwestern prolongation thereof to
its intersection with the north line of Wagoner Drive, a private
road according to instrument recorded in book 949, page 388 said
Recorder's office; thence southwestwardly and westwardly along the
north line of said Wagoner Drive to its intersection with the east
line of property conveyed to Elizabeth M. Atchley by deed recorded
in book 1177, page 514, said Recorder's office; thence northwardly
along said eastern line and along the northern prolongation
thereof to its intersection with the northern line of Maret Drive;
thence westwardly and northwestwardly along the northern and
northeastern lines of said Maret Drive to the most western corner
of property conveyed to Matt Sofka and wife by deed recorded in
Book 1225, page 237, sad Recorder's office; thence northeastwardly
and northwardly along the western line of said Sofka property to
Its northwest corner in the south line of property conveyed to
Joseph Franz by deed recorded in Book 193, page 233 said
Recorder's office; thence eastwardly along the south line of said
Franz property to its southeast corner; thence northwardly along
the eastern line of said Franz property, and its northwardly
prolongation to an intersection with the centerline of Rott Road;
thence eastwardly along the centerline of Rott Road to its
intersection with the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard; thence
southwardly and southeastwardly along the center line of Lindbergh
Boulevard to the beginning.
Section Two. That the petitions praying for
annexation were signed by the majority of the property owners of
the land in said area who own more than one-half of the land area
to be served.
Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to
include the above described area.
Section Four. Certified copies of this ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the
Secretary of State.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 27, 1962.
