HomeMy Public PortalAbout00881 O R D I N A N C E NO. 881 AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St. Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and drainage facilities to be built by the District. WHEREAS, petitions to the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District have been received from the owners of the land in said area who own all of the land area therein; and WHEREAS, this area adjoins and is entirely in a watershed of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and can drain all of its sanitary sewage into sewers to be built within the District, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer facilities to be built by the District can efficiently serve the area described as follows: Beginning at a point in the boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District being at the intersection of the centerline of Brackman Lane 20 feet wide and such District boundary; thence North 0 degrees 11 minutes East along the east line of property of Ferdinand J. H. Hartwig and wife according to the instrument recorded in Book 333 page 591 of the St. Louis County Records, a distance of 1145 feet more less to a point in the south line of property now or formerly of William A. F. Kuettemann and wife, according to instrument recorded in Book 1034 page 1 of the St. Louis County Records; thence South 89 degrees 53 minutes East along said south line of Kuettemann a distance of 1002.94 feet to a point; thence North 86 degrees 17 minutes East a distance of 250.00 feet to a point; thence South O degrees 55 minutes 17 seconds East a distance 212.56 feet to a point; thence South 76 degrees 29 minutes West a distance of 200.00 feet to a point in the west line of property now or formerly of Henry Lampe and wife according to the instrument recorded in Book 524 page 210 of the St. Louis County Records; thence South 13 degrees 31 minutes East along said west line of Lampe a distance of 507.45 feet to a point, which point is also a point on the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence southwestwardly along said existing boundary line to the point of beginning. Section Two. That the petitions praying for annexation were signed by all of the owners of the land in said area who own all of the land area of the area to be served. Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to include the above described area. Section Four. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St Louis County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the Secretary of State. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 27, 1962.
