HomeMy Public PortalAbout00890 O R D I N A N C E NO. 890 AN ORDINANCE, amending Section Two of Ordinance No. 349, adopted December 17, 1959, and revising the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 91 (Geraldine South) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 349, adopted December 17, 1959, is hereby amended by eliminating from the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 91 (Geraldine South), as set forth in Section Two thereof, the area described as follows: The northern 50 feet of a 100 foot Right of Way for the Coldwater Creek Drainage District No. 2A, for the reason that the Board of Trustees finds that such property is beyond the area capable of being efficiently served by the proposed sewer facilities to be constructed in such subdistrict. Section Two. Section Two of said Ordinance No. 349, as hereby amended, shall read as follows: "Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 91 (Geraldine South) shall be as follows: 2 GERALDINE SOUTH SUBDISTRICT Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the north line of Mitchell Place (40' wide) with the western line of Forest Heights Place, as recorded in Plat Book 44 on page 64 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the west line of said subdivision to the northwest corner of Woodson Gardens Plat No. 2, as recorded in Plat Book 82 on page 20 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the west line of said subdivision to the northwest corner of Woodson Gardens Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 65 on pages 42 and 43 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the west line of said subdivision to the northwest corner of Lot 16 of Block 3 of Elsmoor Place Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 14 on page 100 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the west line of said Lot 16 and Lots 15 through Lot 9 of Block 3 of said subdivision to a point, said point being the intersection of the northern life of the Right-of-Way (100' wide) for the Coldwater Creek Drainage District No. 2A with the west line of Lot 9 of said subdivision; thence northwestwardly along the northern and northeastern line of said Coldwater Creed Drainage District No. 2A to a point, said point being the intersection of the northeastern line of the Coldwater Creek Drainage No. 2A with the south line of a tract of land now or formerly owned by Athletic Boys Club of St. Louis County as recorded in Deed Book 3702 on 3 page 94, and in Deed Book 4110 on page 12 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Athletic Boys Club of St. Louis County property to the southeast corner of said property; thence northwardly along the east line of said Athletic Boys Club of St. Louis County property to the south line of Livingston Avenue (30' Wide); thence westwardly along the south line of Livingston Avenue to a point, said point being the intersection of the east line extended of a lot now or formerly owned by Kenneth Schmitt and Nellie Schmitt, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 3803 on page 15 of the St. Louis County Records, with the south line of Livingston Avenue; thence northwardly across Livingston Avenue along the east line of said Schmitt property to the south line or a lot or formerly owned by Thomas W. Gage and Louise G. Gage, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 3740 on page 382 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Gage property to the southeast corner thereof; thence northwardly along the east line of said Gage property to the northeast corner thereof; thence westwardly along the north line of said Gage property to the southeast corner of a lot now or formerly owned by Sherwood Building and Investment Company as recorded in Deed Book 4121 on Page 87 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the east line of said Sherwood Building and Investment Company property to the southeast corner of a lot now or formerly owned by Donald Allen and Violet Mae Allen, his wife, 4 as recorded in Deed Book 4011 or page 481 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the east line of said Allen property to the southwest corner of a lot now or formerly owned by John E. DeGonia and Ellen G. DeGonia, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 2920 on page 350 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the south line of said DeGonia property and the south line extended to the east life of Geraldine Avenue (40' wide); thence north along the east line of Geraldine Avenue to the southwest corner of a lot now or formerly owned by Robert E. Hoss and Ruth Virginia Hoss, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 2327 on page 81 of the St. Louis Records; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Hoss property to the southeast corner thereof; thence northwardly along the east line of said Hoss property and the east line extended to the north line of Mitchell Place (40' wide); thence eastwardly along the north line of Mitchell Place to the point of beginning; No. 6 of St. Ann Country Club Tracts, as recorded in Plat Book 46 on page 42 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the east line of said Tract No. 6 to a point, said point being the northwest corner of a lot now or formerly of James E. Smith and Marcella Smith, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 2545 on page 529 and in Deed Book 3576 on page 574 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Smith property to the northeast corner of said property; thence eastwardly in a straight line to the southwest corner of a lot now or formerly of John Bachman and 5 Daisy Lillian Bachman, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 2053 on page 575 of the St. LouIs County Records; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Bachman property to the west line of a lot now or formerly of Louis E. Smith and Florence E. Smith, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 2174 on page 538 and in Deed Book 2194 on page 235 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the west line of said Smith property and along the west line of a lot now or formerly of Thomas A. Amaro and Marie A. Amaro, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 2319 on page 437 of the St. Louis County Records, and along the west line of a lot now or formerly of Patrick M. Browne and Vernitta V. Browne, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 3759 on page 414 of the St Louis County Records, and said west line of said Browne property projected northwardly to its intersection with a line 66.93 feet north of and parallel to the north line of said Browne property; thence eastwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with the east line of Jane Avenue; thence southwardly along the east line of Jane Avenue to its intersection with a line 66 feet north of and parallel to the north line of a lot now or formerly of William H. Coleman and Stelma Coleman, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 3094 on page 320 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with the west line of a lot now or formerly of Ronald K. Stratman and Barbara Y. Stratman, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 3809 on page 495 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the west line of said 6 Stratman property and along the west line of a lot now or formerly of James R. Babb and A. Lula Babb, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 4090 on page 396 of the St. Louis County Records, and along the west line of a lot now or formerly of Kenneth E. Gronemeyer and Dolores A. Gronemeyer, his wife, as recorded in Deed Book 2489 on page 138 of the St. Louis County Records to a point, said point being 75 feet south of the northwest corner of said Gronemeyer property; thence eastwardly and parallel to the north line of said Gronemeyer property to the west line of Geraldine Avenue (40' wide); thence southeastwardly across Geraldine Avenue (40' wide) to the northwest corner of a lot now or formerly of Peter F. Aiello; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Aiello property to the point of beginning. 7 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 20, 1962.
