HomeMy Public PortalAbout00903 O R D I N A N C E NO. 903 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, be to known as Subdistrict No. 215 (Studt and Old Ballas) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 215 (Studt and Old Ballas). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 215 (Studt and Old Ballas) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 STUDT AND OLD BALLAS Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the eastern line of Hackman Road with a line parallel with and 150 feet south of the eastern prolongation of the centerline of Old Ballas Road (30 feet wide); thence eastwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 150 feet east of the southern prolongation of the east line of Old Ballas Road; thence northwardly along the last mentioned parallel line and continuing along a line parallel with and 150' east of the east line of said Old Ballas Road to its intersection with the eastern prolongation of the centerline of Studt Road; thence westwardly along said prolongation to the east line of said Old Ballas Road; thence northwardly along said east line of Old Ballas Road to its intersection with a line parallel with and 200 feet south of the south line of property now or formerly owned by Mount Zion Methodist Church as recorded in Deed Book 4555, Page 130 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 150' east of the east line of said Old Ballas Road (40 feet wide); thence northwardly along the last mentioned parallel line and its prolongation, northwardly to the centerline of Olive Street Road; thence southwestwardly along said centerline of Olive Street Road to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the west line of Lot 1 of Studt's Home Place as recorded in Plat Book 7, Page 38 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along the west line of Lot 1 to its 3 intersection with a line parallel with and 400 feet north of the center line of Studt Road; thence eastwardly along said parallel line and its prolongation eastwardly to the east line of Ham Avenue (16 feet wide); thence southwardly along said east line of Ham Avenue to the northwest corner of property now or formerly owned by Rudolph F. and Helen W. Meyer as recorded in Deed Book 1971, Page 109 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Meyer property to the northeast corner thereof; thence southwardly along the east line of said Meyer property and along the southern prolongation of said east line to the centerline of Studt Road; thence westwardly along the centerline of Studt Road to the centerline of a 7 foot wide alley, said alley running north and south from Old Ballas to Studt Road; thence southwardly along the centerline of said alley to the centerline of Old Ballas Road; thence westwardly along said centerline of Old Ballas Road to its intersection with the northern prolongation of an east line of property now or formerly owned by Roy E. Dreckshage and wife as recorded in Deed Book 2669, Page 2 of the St. Louis County Records, said east line being 352.60 feet west of the west line of Sarah Avenue; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along said east line of Dreckshage property to its intersection with a line parallel with and 150 feet south of the centerline of said Old Ballas Road; thence eastwardly along said parallel line across Sarah Avenue and continuing along the eastern prolongation of said parallel line across Hackman Road to the point of beginning. 4 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 7, 1963.
