HomeMy Public PortalAbout00918 O R D I N A N C E NO. 918 AN ORDINANCE, amending Section Two of Ordinance No. 826, adopted September 10, 1962, and revising the boundaries of Sub- district No. 199 (Heege and Mathilda) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 826, adopted September 10, 1962, is hereby amended by eliminating from the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 199 (Heege and Mathilda), as set forth in Section Two thereof, the area described as follows: Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Heege Road with the centerline of Mathilda Avenue; thence southwardly along the centerline of said Mathilda Avenue to its intersection with the western prolongation of the south line of Lot 1 in Linders Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 20 page 144 of the St. Louis County Records; thence east- wardly along said prolongation and along the south line of said Lot 1 to the southeast corner thereof; thence southwardly along the southern prolongation of the east line of said Lot 1 to the northern line of Staley Avenue; thence westwardly along the northern line of said Staley Avenue to the east line of Mathilda Avenue; thence northwestwardly in a straight line across Mathilda Avenue to the southeast corner of Lot 17 in Block 1 of Oak-Lawn Terrace as recorded in Plat Book 21 page 50 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the southern line of said 2 Lot 17 to the southwest corner thereof; thence northwardly along the west line of Lots 17 through 25 in said Block 1 to the south line of Lot 3 in said Block 1 to the south line of Lot 3 in said Block 1 of Oak-Lawn Terrace; thence eastwardly along the southern line of Lots 3 and 2 in said Block 1 to the southeast corner of said Lot 2; thence northwardly along the east line of said Lot 2 and along the northern prolongation of said east line to the centerline of Heege Road; thence eastwardly along the centerline of said Heege Road to the point of beginning, for the reason that the Board of Trustees finds that such property would not be benefited by the proposed sewer facilities to be constructed in such subdistrict. Section Two. Section Two of said Ordinance No. 826 as hereby amended, shall read as follows: "Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 199 (Heege and Mathilda) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 3 Ord. No. 918 HEEGE AND MATHILDA Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Gravois Road with the centerline of Lakewood Avenue; thence northwestwardly along the centerline of said Lakewood Avenue to the centerline of Langley Ave.; thence westwardly along the centerline of Langley Avenue to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the west line of Lot 2 in Block 95 of Forest Height Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 7 on Page 81 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along said prolongation and along the west line of said Lot 2 to the northwest corner thereof; thence westwardly along the north line of Lots 3 thru 41 in said Block 95 to the northwest corner of said Lot 41 thence southwardly along the west line of said Lot 41 and along the southern prolongation of said west line to the centerline of Langley Avenue; thence westwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the east line of property now or formerly owned by Donald Renner, as recorded in Deed Book 4284 on Page 159 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along said prolongation and along the east line of said Renner property and continuing along the northern prolongation of said east line to the south line of Lot 4 in Block 1 of Fred L. Kerth's Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 5 on Page 87 of the St. Louis County Records; thence west- wardly along the south line of said Lot 4 to the southeast corner 4 of property now or formerly owned by E. H. & B. J. Schwinegruber, as recorded in Deed Book 3953 on Page 429 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the east line of said Schwinegruber property to the northeast corner thereof; thence northwardly along a straight line across Lode Avenue to the southeast corner of Lot 25 in Block 2 of Jenkins Place Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 9 on Page 84 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the east line of said Lot 25 to the northeast corner thereof; thence westwardly along the north line of Lots 25 thru 32 in said Block 2 and along the western prolongation of said north line to the centerline of Mathilda Avenue; thence northwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the eastern prolongation of the south line of property now or formerly owned by Francis S. & Ida M. Etter, as recorded in Deed Book 2866 on Page 171 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along said prolongation and along the south line of said Etter property to its intersection with a line parallel with and 150 feet west of the centerline of Mathilda Avenue; thence northwardly along said parallel line to the south line of Meryl-Wood Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 7 on Page 88 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the south line of said subdivision to the southwest corner thereof; thence northwardly along the west line of said Meryl-Wood Subdivision to the northwest corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the north line of said subdivision to the southeast corner 5 of Lot 17 in Block 5 of Oak-Lawn Terrace Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 21 on Page 50 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the east line of said Lot 17 to the northeast corner thereof; thence northeastwardly along a straight line across Staley Avenue to the southwest corner of Lot 5 in Block 4 of said Oak-Lawn Terrace Subdivision; thence northwardly along the west line of said Lot 5 to the northwest corner thereof, thence eastwardly along the north line of said Lot 5 in said Block 4 to the northeast corner of said Lot 5; thence southwardly along the east line of said Lot 5 and along the southern prolongation of said east line to the centerline of said Staley Avenue, thence eastwardly along the centerline of Staley Avenue to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the west line of Lot 16 in Block 2 of said Oak-Lawn Terrace Subdivision; thence northwardly along said prolongation and along the west line of Lots 16 thru 25 in said Block 2 to the south line of Lot 3 in said Block 2; thence westwardly along the south line of Lots 3, 4 and 5 in Block 2 of said Oak-Lawn Terrace Subdivision to the southwest corner of said Lot 5; thence westwardly along a straight line across Joel Ave. to the southeast corner of Lot 1 in Block 3 of said Oak-Lawn Terrace Subdivision; thence westwardly along the south line of Lots 1 and 2 in said Block 3 and along the western prolongation of the south line of said Lot 2 to the west line of Lot 4 in said Block 3; thence northwardly along the west line of said Lot 4 and along the northern prolongation of said west line 6 to the centerline of Heege Road; thence eastwardly along the centerline of Heege Road to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the east line of Lot 2 in Block 1 of said Oak-Lawn Terrace; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along the east line of said Lot 2 to the southeast corner thereof; thence westwardly along the south line of lots 2 and 3 in said Block 1 to the northwest corner of Lot 25 in said Block 1; thence southwardly along the west line of Lots 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18 and 17 in said Block 1 of Oak-Lawn Terrace to the southwest corner of said Lot 17; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Lot 17 to the southeast corner thereof; thence southeastwardly along a straight line across Mathilda Avenue to the northeast corner of Mathilda Avenue and Staley Avenue; thence eastwardly along the north line of Staley Avenue to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the west line of Genesta Place Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 30 Page 86 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along said prolongation to the southwest corner of Genesta Place Subdivision; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Genesta Place Subdivision to the southeast corner thereof; thence northwardly along the east line of said subdivision and along the northern prolongation of said east line to the centerline of Heege Road; thence eastwardly along the centerline of Heege Road to its intersection with the centerline of Grant Boulevard; thence northeastwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the northwestward prolongation of the 7 northeast line of Lots 36, 37, and 38 of Block 1 of Lakewood Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 6 on Pages 24 and 25 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly along said prolongation and along said lot lines to the easternmost corner of said Lot 38; thence southwestwardly along the southeast line of said Lot 38 and alongthe southwestern prolongation of said southeast line to the northernmost corner of Wolz's Resubdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 8 on Page 9 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly along the northeast line of said subdivision to the easternmost corner thereof; thence southwestward along the southeast line of said Wolz's Resubdivision and along the southwestern prolongation of said southeast line to the centerline of Heege Road; thence southeastwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the southwestern prolongation of the southeast line of Lot 11 in Ludewig's Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 5 on Page 45 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along said prolongation and along the southeast line of said Lot 11 to the northernmost corner of a lot now or formerly owned by David L. and Anna Marie Busch and Raymond F. and Mary R. Busch, as recorded in Deed Book 3805 on Page 432 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly along the northeast line of said Busch property to the easternmost corner of said Busch property; thence southwestwardly along the southeast line of said Busch property to its intersection with the northeast line of a lot now or formerly 8 owned by Louise Crecelius, as described in Deed Book 431 on Page 311 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly along the northeast line of said Crecelius property to the northwest line of Gravois Road; thence southwestwardly along the northwest line of Gravois Road to the easternmost corner of a lot now or formerly owned by D & D Industries, Incorporated, as recorded in Deed Book 3504 on Page 432 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly, southwestwardly, and southeastwardly along the northeast, northwest and southwest lines of said D & D Industries, Inc. property and along the southeastern prolongation of said southwest line to the centerline of Gravois Road; thence southwestwardly along the centerline of Gravois Road to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 7, 1963.
