AN ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Executive
Director to Quit Claim certain real estate in St. Louis County,
Missouri, formerly containing a sewage disposal plant known as the
"Ferguson Treatment Plant", formerly of the Ferguson Sewer
District, and to execute a quit-claim deed upon the conditions
herein set out.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Plan of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District and by Resolution No. 6 of the District,
adopted July 1, 1954 and recorded in Book 3286, Page 90 of the St.
Louis County Records, the District took title for its use and
possession to a sewage treatment plant tract formerly of the
Ferguson Sewer District, situated in St. Louis County, and known
as the "Ferguson Treatment Plant"; and
WHEREAS, in order to perfect the title thereto, the
Ferguson Sewer District granted this District a quit-claim deed
for said tract recorded as Daily No. 219, June 27, 1960 in the St.
Louis County Records; and
WHEREAS, the said Ferguson Sewer District was dissolved
by Decree of the Circuit Court of St. Louis County on June 1,
1960; and
WHEREAS, the District has incurred the expense of
$3,192.00 in razing the structures on such property, and also the
sum of $157.00 as its share in constructing a road adjacent
thereto; and
WHEREAS, the District no longer uses nor has any need

for such property and has been requested by the City of Ferguson
to grant such property to it, and has offered the District the sum
of $3,349.00 to reimburse the District for the aforesaid expendi-
tures,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The District does hereby Remise, Release
and forever Quit-Claim any right, title or interest in or to the
following described real estate, situated in the County of St.
Louis and State of Missouri, effective upon the receipt of afore-
said sums of money, to wit:
Beginning at a point on the northeast line of Ferguson
Avenue (50 feet wide), which point is 717.2 feet southeastwardly,
measured along said northeast line of Ferguson Avenue, from the
intersection of said northeast line of Ferguson Avenue with the
common boundary between United States Surveys 2689 and 393, which
boundary is also the West line of Lot 8 of the Owen Chambers
Estate; thence North 51 degrees 10 Minutes East along the
northwest line of property known as the Ferguson Sewer District
Treatment Plant property, a distance of 328.5 feet to a point;
thence South 63 Degrees 30 Minutes East along the northeast line
of said Treatment Plant property, a distance of 500.0 feet to a
point; thence South 51 Degrees 10 Minutes West along the southeast
boundary of said Treatment Plant property, a distance of 328 feet
more or less to the aforesaid northeast line of said Ferguson

Avenue extended southeastwardly; thence northwestwardly along said
southeast extension and said northeast line of said Ferguson
Avenue, which is also the southwest boundary of said Treatment
Plant property, a distance of 500 feet more or less to the point
of beginning, which described area is approximately 4 acres,
excepting therefrom an easement for sewer and drainage purposes
150 feet wide over the southeast 150 feet of aforesaid property,
Section Two. The Executive Director is hereby authorized
and directed to execute in behalf of the District a Deed giving
effect to Section One hereof.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 5, 1963.
