AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with E. J. Fischer
Plumbing Contractor for the construction of storm sewer known as
Northland Hills #2 Storm Sewer Extension in City of Ferguson with
an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METRO-
POLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to E. J. Fischer Plumbing Contractor, as the
lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of storm sewer
known as Northland Hills #2 Storm Sewer Extension in City of
Ferguson of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to
bids received and opened on the 21st day of February, 1963 and
formally executed on the 2nd day of April, 1963 by said contractor
and by the Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of the District, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 5, 1963.
