AN ORDINANCE vacating an easement in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis has by Ordinance No.
12083, vacated that north-south alley in the southern portion of
City Block 1717E, reserving to itself an easement for sewer
purposes, and by Board Order 638, approved 23 August 1960
redesignated such area as part of City Block 1709B; and
WHEREAS, the District is successor to said City for such
sewer purposes; and
WHEREAS, the Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority
has acquired all of the land in City Block 1709B and has requested
this District to vacate such reserved easement and this District
has no further need for such easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The following described sewer easement is
hereby vacated, to wit:
That sewer easement over the former north-south alley in
the southern portion of City Block 1717E as vacated by City of St.
Louis Ordinance No. 12083, which area is now part of that area
redesignated as City Block 1709B.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 25, 1963.
