AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Pittsburgh
Plate Glass Company for the construction of an all weather entry
at 1900 Sulphur Avenue (Maintenance Building) with an emergency
clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company, as the
lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of an all weather
entry at 1900 Sulphur Avenue (Maintenance Building) of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 17th day of April, 1963 and formally executed on
the 23rd day of April, 1963 by said contractor and by the
Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the
District, in the following form:

is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 25, 1963. -2-
