HomeMy Public PortalAbout00968 O R D I N A N C E NO. 968 AN ORDINANCE, amending Section Two of Ordinance No. 518, adopted March 23, 1961, and revising the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 81 (Sappington Acres Estates) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 518, adopted March 23, 1961, is hereby amended by eliminating from the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 81 (Sappington Acres Estates), as set forth in Section Two thereof, the areas described as follows: AREA 1 Beginning at a point on the north line of property now or formerly owned by W. J. Sheahan Realty Company as recorded in Deed Book 4896, Page 386 of the St. Louis County Records, said point being 36.93 feet east of a northwest corner of said Sheahan property; thence eastwardly along the north line of said property to the southwest line of Fawndale Drive (50 feet wide); thence southeastwardly along said southwest line to the northwest line of Littie Road; thence northeastwardly along a straight line to the point of intersection of the northeast line of Fawndale Drive with the northern line of Littie Road; thence eastwardly along the north line of Littie Road to the southwest corner of property now or formerly owned by Edward F. and Vera B. Sappington as recorded in Deed Book 2461, Page 450 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the west line of said Sappington property 2 to the southwest corner of property now or formerly owned by William J. Sheahan Realty Company as recorded in Deed Book 4876, Page 498 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Sheahan property to the southeast corner thereof; thence northwardly along the east line of said Sheahan property to the south line of Tara No. 3 Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 76, Page 33 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the south line of said Tara No. 3 and along the south line of Tara No. 4 as recorded in Plat Book 81, Page 14 of the St. Louis County Records, to the southeast corner of Lot 71 in said Tara No. 4; thence southwestwardly in a straight line to the point of beginning. AREA 2 A strip of land, 20 feet wide, bounded on the east and south by "Tara" Plat No. 2 Subdivision, on the west by Baptist Church Road and on the north by property now or formerly owned by Emil and Josie Masienfeld as recorded in Deed Book 1320, Page 400 of the St. Louis County Records, and property now or formerly owned by Nikolaus and Magdalena Anton as recorded in Deed Book 2446, Page 610 of the St. Louis County Records. AREA 3 A strip of land now or formerly owned by Bevo Construction Company as described in Parcel 2 of Deed Recorded in Deed Book 4896, Page 391 of the St. Louis County Records, for the reason that the Board of Trustees finds that such property would not be 3 benefited by the proposed sewer facilities to be constructed in such subdistrict. Section Two. Section Two of said Ordinance No. 518 as hereby amended, shall read as follows: "Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 81 shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 4 SAPPINGTON ACRES ESTATES Beginning at a point, said point being 110 feet south of the northeast corner of Section 29, Township 44 North, Range 6 East of the 5th principle meridian, and on the east line of said Section 29 in St. Louis County, Missouri; thence southwestwardly to a point, said point being 375 feet south of the north line and 312 feet west of the east line of said Section 29; thence westwardly on a line 375 feet south of and parallel to the north line of said Section 29 to a point 681 feet west of the east line of said Section 29; thence westwardly on a line thence southwardly on a line parallel to and 681 feet west of the east line of said Section 29 to its intersection with the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard; thence along said centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard N 75Ε 46' W to its intersection with the southward projection of the west line of Sappington Acres Estates Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 63 on Pages 4 and 5 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along said projection and along said west line to its intersection with the south line of Lot 35 of Sappington Acres Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 33 on Page 36 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said south line to the southeast corner of said Lot 35; thence northwardly along the east line of said Sappington Acres Subdivision to the northwest corner of property now or formerly of R. F. and A. C. Lee, Jr., as recorded in Deed Book 2385 on Page 470 of the St. 5 Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly in a straight line to the southwest corner of property now or formerly of Edwin A. and F. A. Roussan, as recorded in Deed Book 2685 on Page 631 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along the northwest line of said Roussan property and said line projected to its intersection with the western prolongation of the south line of Fawndale Subdivision No. 1, as recorded in Plat Book 105 on Page 3 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said prolongation and along the southern line of said subdivision to the southwest line of Fawndale Drive (50 feet wide); thence southeastwardly along said southwest line to the northwest line of Littie Road (40 feet wide); thence northeastwardly along a straight line to the point of intersection of the north line of Littie Road with the northeast line of Fawndale Drive; thence eastwardly along the north line of Littie Road to the southwest corner of property now or formerly owned by Edward G. and Vera B. Sappington as recorded in Deed Book 2461 Page 450 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the west line of said Sappington property to the southwest corner of property now or formerly owned by William J. Sheahan Realty Company as recorded in Deed Book 4876 Page 498 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Sheahan property to the south east corner thereof; thence northwardly along the east line of said Sheahan property to the southern line of Tara No. 4 Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 81 on Page 14 of the St. 6 Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Tara No. 4, and along the south line of Tara No. 3, as recorded in Book 76 on Page 33 of the St. Louis County Records, to the original centerline of Baptist Church Road, 30 feet wide; thence S 0Ε 07' W along said centerline to a point on the westerly prolongation of the south line of Waldorf Terrace, Plat No. 3, as recorded in Book 73 on Page 50 of the St. Louis County Records; thence N 89Ε 55' E 998.14' to the southwest corner of said Waldorf Terrace, Plat No. 3, said point also being the southwest corner of Archer Park, as recorded in Book 71 on Page 22 of the St. Louis County Records; thence easterly along the south line of Archer Park 67.01 feet, more or less, to the northwest corner of Lot 73 of Tara No. 2, as recorded in Book 66 on Page 40 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the west line of Lots 73 to 91 of said Tara No. 2, to the southeast corner of property now or formerly owned by Nickolaus and Magdalena Anton as recorded in Deed Book 2446 Page 610 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along the south of said Anton property and continuing along the western prolongation of said south line to the centerline of aforesaid Baptist Church Road; thence southwardly along said centerline to the point of beginning. 7 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 13, 1963.
