AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Gampco Incorporated,
Contractors and Engineers for the construction of sanitary sewers
in Subdistrict No. 143 (Kingbee and Maxwell) with an emergency
clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN
ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the Executive
Director to Gampco Incorporated, Contractors and Engineers, as the
lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of sanitary sewers
in Subdistrict No. 143 (Kingbee and Maxwell) of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on
the 29th day of May, 1963 and formally executed on the 13th day of
June, 1963 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and
the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District in the following
form:
Ord. No. 985
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the construction of a
contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be constructed
being necessary for the protection of the public health,
constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan, and this
Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 20, 1963.
