HomeMy Public PortalAbout00992REPEALED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1813 O R D I N A N C E NO. 992 AN ORDINANCE prescribing paid holidays and vacations of officers and employees in the full-time unclassified administrative service of the District and extending to them in so far as applicable the provisions of Civil Service Rules 10.2 and 10.3. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. In so far as applicable and subject to the limitations set forth hereinafter, Civil Service Rule 10.2 providing for paid holidays and Civil Service Rule 10.3 providing for paid vacations are hereby extended to and prescribed for all officers and employees in the full-time unclassified administrative service of the District. Section Two. The scheduling of the vacations hereinabove provided shall be at the discretion of the appointing authority in each case and subject to the operating requirements of the District. Any employee within the unclassified service may accumulate a maximum of twenty (20) working days in excess of the annual fifteen (15) working days vacation for any current calendar year. Any such employee who fails to take his annual vacation shall lose all vacation days in excess of twenty (20) working days at the end of each calendar year. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 20, 1963.
