AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Gampco
Incorporated Contractors & Engineers for the construction of storm
sewers in Subdistrict No. 88 (Fountain Creek Section 1) with an
emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Gampco Incorporated Contractors & Engineers
as the lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of storm
sewers in Subdistrict No. 88 (Fountain Creek Section 1) of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids executed
on the 1st day of August, 1963 by said contractor and by the
Executive Director and the Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the
District, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewer construction and the sewers to be
constructed being necessary for the protection of the public
health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the Plan,
and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 7, 1963.
