AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with G. L. TARLTON
CONTRACTING COMPANY for the construction of the Coldwater Creek
Sewage Treatment plant in St. Louis County, Missouri with an
emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to G. L. TARLTON CONTRACTING COMPANY, as the
lowest responsible bidder, for the construction of the Coldwater
Creek Sewage Treatment Plant in St. Louis County, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 19th day of June, 1963
and formally executed on the 7th day of August, 1963 by said
contractor and by the Executive Director and the Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for construction of a sewage treatment plant and the
treatment plant to be constructed being necessary for the
protection of the public health, constitutes an emergency within
the meaning of the Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and become
effective immediately upon its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 7, 1963.
