HomeMy Public PortalAbout01014 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1014 AN ORDINANCE vacating portions of easements in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis, by Ordinance No. 52060, has abandoned an unnamed street 30.46 feet wide between Poepping Street, Carondelet Boulevard, Weber Road and Waddell Avenue, and an unnamed street 20.46 feet wide in City Block 3289 between Weber Road "cut-off" and Carondelet Boulevard, reserving to this District an easement over the area of said streets; and WHEREAS, the owner of the subject property has requested this District to vacate portions of such easements, and the District has no further use for such portions of easements, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The following described portions of the sewer easements reserved to this District by the City of St. Louis, Missouri by Ordinance No. 52060, by which the City abandoned certain streets, are hereby vacated, to wit: That portion of the easement over the unnamed street 30.46 feet wide approximately 400 feet south of and approximately parallel to Poepping Street and extending from the Weber Road "cut-off" westwardly a distance of 431 feet measured along the centerline thereof, and excepting therefrom that portion thereof coincident with Violaview Drive 40 feet wide and those easements five (5) feet wide over the east five (5) feet and the west five (5) feet of Patricia Gardens Subdivision; and that unnamed street 20.46 feet wide and approximately 70 feet long located in the southeast corner of City Block 3289 and extending from the north line of Weber Road "cut-off" to the west line of Carondelet Boulevard. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 7, 1963.
