O R D I N A N C E NO. 1033
AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and
drainage facilities of the District.
WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from the
sole owner of said area; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, and can drain all of its sanitary sewage into
sewers within the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of the Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District boundary as extended by Ordinance No.
749, adopted May 7, 1962, said corner being a point in the center
line of Concord School Road 40 feet wide, at the Southeast corner
of property conveyed to Louis Laudel by deed recorded in Book 209,
page 228 of the St. Louis County Records; thence North 89 degrees
42 minutes West along the centerline of Concord School Road, a
distance of 100 feet to a point; thence northwardly along the
southwardly prolongation of the East line of Lots 4, 5, and 6 in
Dorclin Acres No. 3 Subdivision, which is also the present East
boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District as
extended by Ordinance No. 224, adopted September 2, 1958, a
distance of 653.41 feet to a point; thence eastwardly along the
South line of Lot 7 in Dorclin Acres No. 3 Subdivision, which is
also the present South boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District as extended by Ordinance No. 224, adopted September
2, 1958, a distance of 100 feet to the southeast corner of said
Lot 7 in Dorclin Acres No. 3 Subdivision; thence southwardly along
the West line of Concord Oaks Subdivision, which is also the
present West boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
as extended by Ordinance No. 191, adopted May 6, 1958 and
Ordinance No. 749, adopted May 7, 1962, a distance of 653.41 feet
to the point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation
was signed by the sole owner of the area to be served.
Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to
include the above-described area.
Section Four. Certified copies of this ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the
Secretary of State. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 16, 1963.
