HomeMy Public PortalAbout01053 REPEALED BY ORDINANCE NO. 2506 - 12/12/73 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1053 AN ORDINANCE repealing Ordinance No. 991, as adopted the 20th day of June, 1963, prescribing the times for holding regular and special meetings of the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and enacting a new ordinance in lieu thereof on the same subject. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 991, as adopted the 20th day of June 1963, is hereby repealed. Section Two. The Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District shall hold one regular meeting on the second Thursday of each month. In the event the second Thursday of any month shall be a public holiday, or the Board is unable to obtain a quorum, such meeting shall be held within ten (10) days thereafter. Section Three. Regular meetings shall be held at the main office of the District at the hour of 2:00 p.m. unless changed by agreement of a majority of the Board of Trustees. Section Four. The Board of Trustees shall hold special meetings at such times and places as may be designated by the Chairman. It shall be the duty of the Chairman to call a special meeting upon the request of any two members of the Board of Trustees. Section Five. In the event of any change in either the date or time of the holding of the regular meeting, the Secretary- Treasurer or his representative shall be present in the Board Room for one-half hour after the date and time set for such regular meeting in order to inform any person who might seek to attend said regular meeting of the change in date and time. Section Six. The Board of Trustees shall keep a journal of its proceedings and a record of the attendance of all Board Members at all regular and special meetings. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 4, 1963.
