NEW SECTION THIRTEEN ADDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1373 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1057
AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 455, adopted
October 7, 1960, by providing an additional section fixing the
compensation of the Secretary to the Executive Director and
containing an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance Number 455, as adopted October
7, 1960, is hereby amended by providing an additional section
fixing the compensation of the Secretary to the Executive
Director, said section to read as follows:
"Section Thirteen. Effective October 15, 1963, the
salary of the Secretary to the Executive Director shall be at the
rate of not less than $5,500.00 nor more than $7,500.00 per annum,
payable in equal semi-monthly installments."
Section Two. The increase in the cost of living and
the necessity for adjustment of salaries and wages to meet such
increased cost of living and the consequent hardship on employees
at the District incident thereto creates an emergency within the
meaning of the Plan and this Ordinance shall be and become
effective immediately upon its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 4, 1963.
