O R D I N A N C E NO. 1074
AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and
drainage facilities of the District.
WHEREAS, petitions to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District have been received from the
majority of the owners of the land in said area who own more than
one-half of the land area therein; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins and is in a watershed within
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and can drain all of
its sanitary sewage into sewers to be constructed within the
District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection
of the centerlines of New Halls Ferry Road and Parker Road
(running eastwardly from New Halls Ferry), said point being also a
point on the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District; thence eastwardly along said centerline of Parker Road
to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the east
line of Marietta Plat 2, a subdivision of St. Louis County,

Missouri, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 76,
Page 20 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along
said prolongation and along the east line of said Marietta Plat 2
Subdivision to the northeast corner of said Marietta Plat 2
Subdivision which corner is also a point on the existing boundary
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District as extended by
Ordinance No. 326, adopted September 28, 1959; thence
eastwardly along the eastern prolongation of the north line of
said Marietta Plat 2 Subdivision (which line is also part of the
existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District as
extended by said Ordinance 326) to the northeast corner of
property now or formerly owned by Jos. A. Kasperski, as recorded
in Deed Book 2123 on page 450 of the St. Louis County Records;
thence northwardly, eastwardly and northwardly along the existing
boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District as extended
by said Ordinance No. 326, to the northeast corner of property now
or formerly of Leonhard C. Lemkemann, according to the instrument
recorded in Book 3898, page 147 of the St. Louis County Records,
which is also the southeast corner of property now or formerly of
D.G. Ulrich, according to the instrument recorded in Book 2898,
page 574 of the St. Louis County Records, and which is also a
point on the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District as extended by Ordinance No. 418, adopted June 16, 1960;
thence eastwardly along the existing boundary of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District as extended by said Ordinance No. 418,

319.01 feet to a point; thence northwardly along said existing
boundary a distance of approximately 670 feet to an angle point;
thence eastwardly along said existing boundary a distance of
272.60 feet to a point, which point is also in the east-west
centerline of Section 19, Township 47 North, Range 7 East and also
a point in the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District as annexed by Ordinance No. 642, adopted October
19, 1961; thence generally eastwardly along such existing boundary
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District as annexed by such
Ordinance No. 642 to a point, which point is also on the western
line of U. S. Survey 2771, distant 2,104.08 feet northwardly from
the centerline of Parker Road (40 feet wide), measured along such
western line; thence eastwardly in a straight line, a distance of
approximately 1,114 feet to the southwest corner of U. S. Survey
1012; thence southwardly in a straight line to the northwest
corner of the area annexed to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District by Ordinance No. 881, adopted November 27, 1962; thence
southwardly along the west line of such annexed area and generally
westwardly along the original boundary of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to its point of intersection with the
eastwardly prolongation of the north line of Northridge Hills, a
subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri, according to the plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book 75, page 13 of the St. Louis County
Records; thence westwardly along such prolongation and such north
line to the northwest corner of such subdivision; thence
southwardly along the west line of such subdivision to the

southwest corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the south line
and its eastwardly prolongation to the centerline of Old Halls
Ferry Road 60 feet wide, which is also a point in the original
boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence
generally southwardly, westwardly and northwestwardly along such
boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to the point
of beginning.
Section Two. That the petitions praying for annexation
were signed by the majority of the owners of the land in said area
who own more than one-half of the land area of the area to be
served.
Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to
include the above described area.
Section Four. Certified copies of this ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the
Secretary of State.
