HomeMy Public PortalAbout01075 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1075 AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St. Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and drainage facilities to be built by the District. WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from the owner of all the land in said area; and WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and can drain all of its sanitary sewage into sewers within the District. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area described as follows: Beginning at a point in the boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, said point being at the intersection of the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard 100 feet wide with the northwardly prolongation of the east line of Concord Place, a subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 48, page 26 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along such prolongation and along such east line of Concord Place, to the southeast corner of Lot 17 thereof; thence South 89 degrees, 37 minutes, 15 seconds East a distance of 404.58 feet to an old stone; thence North 0 degrees, 41 minutes, 45 seconds East a distance of approximately 1,507 feet to its intersection with the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard, which is also a point on the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; thence westwardly along said centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard, which is also a portion of the existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, a distance of approximately 418 feet to the point of beginning. Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation was signed by the owner of all the land in said area. Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to include the above-described area. Section Four. Certified copies of this Ordinance shall be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the Secretary of State.
