HomeMy Public PortalAbout01076 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1076 AN ORDINANCE vacating sewer easements and the sewers therein, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis, by Ordinance Nos. 42331, 43816 and 49811 vacated the east-west alley 15 feet wide and the north-south alley 20 feet wide, in that part of City Block 3967 bounded by Edmund Avenue, the Red Feather (or Oakland) Express Highway, Tower Grove Avenue and the 20 foot wide east-west alley parallel with Clayton Avenue and approximately 157 feet southwardly therefrom; and WHEREAS, by such City Ordinances, easements for sewer purposes were retained over such alleys, which easements have now inured to this District; and WHEREAS, the Owner of the subject property has requested this District to vacate such easements, and the sewers therein, and this District has no need for such easements or the sewers lying therein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The following described portion of sewer easements and sewers lying therein are hereby vacated, to wit: Those easements retained over the southernmost east-- west alley 15 feet wide and over the north-south alley 15 feet wide, in City Block 3967, all as vacated by Ordinance Nos. 42331, 43816 and 49811 of the City of St. Louis. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 14, 1963.
