O R D I N A N C E NO. 1081
AN ORDINANCE confirming a contract with Richard E.
Harder Contracting Company for the razing of various structures of
the Kirkwood No. 1 and the old Kirkwood Treatment Plants in the
City of Kirkwood with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Richard E. Harder Contracting Company as the
lowest responsible bidder, for the razing of various structures of
the Kirkwood No. 1 and the old Kirkwood Treatment Plants in the
City of Kirkwood of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 15th day of November,
1963, and formally executed on the 25th day of November, 1963 by
said contractor and by the Executive Director and the Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. An emergency exists within the meaning of
the Plan because of the necessity of removing a potential danger
to the public health and safety. Accordingly, this ordinance
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 2, 1963.
