HomeMy Public PortalAbout01092 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1092 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 226 (Basswood Lane) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 226 (Basswood Lane). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 226 (Basswood Lane) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) BASSWOOD LANE Beginning at a point, said point being the northwest corner of Basswood Lane Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 63, Page 33 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along the north line of said subdivision to the northwest corner of Lot 8 in said Basswood Lane Subdivision; thence southwestwardly, southeastwardly and eastwardly along the northwest, southwest and southern line of said Lot 8 to the eastern line of said Basswood Lane Subdivision; thence southwardly along said eastern line to the northeast corner of Lot 13 in said Subdivision; thence westwardly along the north line of said Lot 13 and along the western prolongation of said north line to the centerline of Basswood Lane (40 feet wide); thence southwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the eastern prolongation of the southern line of property now or formerly owned by Walter J. and Marjorie H. Broeker as recorded in Deed Book 4511, Page 309 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along said prolongation and along the southern line of said Broeker property to the east line of Lot 1 in Broekers Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 93, Page 22 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the easternmost line of said Lot 1 to the southeast corner thereof; thence westwardly along the southern line of said Lot 1 and along the western prolongation of said south line to the centerline of Broeker Lane (40 feet wide); thence northwardly and northwestwardly along the centerline of said Broeker Lane to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the westernmost line of said Lot 1; -2- thence northwardly along said prolongation and along the westernmost line of said Lot 1 to the northwest corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Lot 1 to the western line of aforesaid Basswood Lane Subdivision; thence northwardly along the western line of said Basswood Lane Subdivision to the point of beginning.
