AN ORDINANCE, transferring Forty-five Thousand Dollars
($45,000.00) from the unappropriated surplus of the District
General Fund to the General Fund of the Mississippi River
Subdistrict as a loan and appropriating the same sum to be used
for the support, maintenance and operation of the Subdistrict
Departments named for the remainder of the fiscal year ending June
30, 1964.
WHEREAS, the Mississippi River Subdistrict is without
funds for the operation of its departments and the District is
able to advance the sum presently needed as a loan to such
Subdistrict.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-five Thousand Dollars
($45,000.00) is transferred from the unappropriated surplus of the
District General Fund to the General Fund of the Mississippi River
Subdistrict as a loan to be repaid at the earliest convenience of
such Subdistrict.
Section Two. The same sum of Forty-five Thousand
Dollars ($45,000.00) is appropriated from the General Fund of the
Mississippi River Subdistrict to be used for the remainder of the
fiscal year ending June 30, 1964, for the support, maintenance and
operation of its Departments as hereinafter detailed.

Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 19, 1963. -2-
