HomeMy Public PortalAbout01115AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1517 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1115 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 227 (Gravois- Sappington Trunk) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 227 (Gravois-Sappington Trunk). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 227 (Gravois-Sappington Trunk) shall be as follows: GRAVOIS-SAPPINGTON TRUNK Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Lindbergh Blvd. with the centerline of Gravois Road; thence northwestwardly along the centerline of said Lindbergh Blvd. to its intersection with the northern prolongation of the east line of Block 5 of Sunset Club Court as recorded in Plat Book 23, page 52 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along said prolongation and along the east line of said Block 5 to the northernmost corner of Lot 10 in said Block 5; thence southwestwardly along the northwest line of Lots 10 and 9 in said Block 5 and continuing along the southwestern prolongation of said northwest line to the centerline of Sunset Dr.; thence northwestwardly along said centerline of Sunset Dr. to the centerline of Parkway Dr.; thence southwestwardly along the centerline of said Parkway Dr. to its intersection with the southeastern prolongation of the northeast line of Lot 10 in Block 2 of said Sunset Club Court; thence northwestwardly along said prolongation and along the northeast line of said Lot 10 to the northeast corner of said Lot 10; thence westwardly along the north line of Lots 10 thru 16 in said Block 2 and along the western prolongation of said north line to the centerline of Geyer Road; thence northwardly along the centerline of Geyer Road across Lindbergh Blvd. to the centerline of Denny Road; thence eastwardly along the centerline of said Denny Road to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the east line of Park Hill Cemetery as recorded in Plat Book 3, page 57 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along said prolongation and the east line of said Cemetery property to the northeast corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the eastern prolongation of the north line of said Cemetery to the east line of Parkholm Road; thence eastwardly along a straight line to the southwest corner of Lot 1 of the Subdivision of the Fred W. Wohlschlaeger Tract as recorded in Plat Book 15, Page 132 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the west line of Lots 1 thru 5 in said Wohlschlaeger Tract to the northwest corner of said Lot 5; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Lot 5 to its intersection with a line parallel with and 250 feet west of the centerline of Sappington Road; thence northwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with the western prolongation of the north line of property now or formerly owned by Ilma Wallach as recorded in Deed Book 1919, Page 489 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said prolongation and along the north line of said Wallach property to the northeast corner thereof, said point also being the northwest corner of Tealridge Plat No. 2 as recorded in Plat Book 103, Pages 4 and 5 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the west line of said Tealridge Plat No. 2 and continuing along the western line of Tealridge Plat No. 3 as recorded in Plat Book 106, Pages 32 and 33 of the St. Louis County Records to the southwest corner of said Tealridge Plat No. 3; thence eastwardly along the southernmost line of said Subdivision to the southeast corner of Lot A as shown on the recorded Plat of said Tealridge Plat No. 3; thence northwardly along the east line of said Lot "A" to the northeast corner thereof; thence eastwardly, northwardly and eastwardly along a southern, eastern and southern line of said Tealridge Plat No. 2 Subdivision and continuing along the southern line of Tealridge Plat No. 1 Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 98, Page 92 of the St. Louis County Records to the northwest corner of property now or formerly owned by Frank P. & Mary Klein, Sr. as recorded in Deed Book 5256, Page 533 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the west line of said Klein property to the southwest corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the south line of said Klein property to the northeast corner of property now or formerly owned by Albert & Mary Slamp as recorded in Deed Book 3840, Page 214 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along the eastern line of said Slamp property and its prolongation southwardly to the centerline of Gravois Road; thence northeast- wardly along said centerline to the centerline of Emil Avenue; thence southwardly along the centerline of Emil Avenue to its intersection with the eastern prolongation of the north line of Lot 4 of the Thos. J. Sappington Estate Subdivision in Partition as recorded in Plat Book 5, Page 33 of the St. Louis County Records, said north line being also the centerline of a 30 feet wide private road; thence westwardly along said prolongation and along the north line of said Lot 4 to the northeast corner of Westminister Estates Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 58, Page 36 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwardly along an eastern, southern and eastern line of said Westminister Estates Subdivision to the southeast corner of Lot 22 in said subdivision, said point also being on the west line of Lot 6 in the Thos. J. Sappington Estate Subdivision in Partition; thence southwardly along the west line of said Lot 6 and its southern prolongation to the centerline of Lindbergh Blvd; thence westwardly and northwestwardly along the centerline of Lindbergh Blvd. to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 20, 1964.
