HomeMy Public PortalAbout01120 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1120 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 229 (Leeton and West) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 229 (Leeton and West). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 229 (Leeton and West) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) LEETON AND WEST Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of West Avenue, with the centerline of Scranton Avenue (formerly Hillside Avenue); thence northwardly along the centerline of West Avenue to its intersection with the eastern prolongation of a property line parallel with and 120 feet south of the north line of Lot 4 in Block 1 of Burkes Subdivision of part of Prospect Hill as recorded in Plat Book 4, pages 76 and 77 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along said prolongation and along said property line to the eastern line of the Chicago-Burlington and Quincy Railroad Right-of-Way; thence northwardly along the eastern line of said Right-of-Way to the northwest corner of Block 2 in said Burkes Subdivision of part of Prospect Hill; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Block 2 and its prolongation eastwardly to the centerline of Lilac Drive; thence southwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the eastern prolongation of the north line of Lot 24 in Block 5 of said Burkes Subdivision; thence westwardly along said prolongation and along the north line of Lots 24 thru 44 in said Block 5 to the northwest corner of said Lot 44; thence southwardly along the west line of said Lot 44 and its prolongation southwardly to the centerline of Scranton Avenue; thence westwardly along the centerline of Scranton Avenue to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 12, 1964.
