HomeMy Public PortalAbout01129 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1129 AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of sewer easements, including the sewers therein in the City of St. Louis, Missouri WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis, by Ordinance No. 51,844, approved April 3, 1963, vacated Locust Street, Vine Street and St. Charles Street, between the west line of Third Street and the east line of Fourth Street; and WHEREAS, the Mansion House Center North Development Corporation, Mansion House Center Redevelopment Corporation and Mansion House Center South Redevelopment Corporation, the redeveloper of the areas which includes such vacated portion of Locust Street, Vine Street and St. Charles Street, has requested this District vacate its easements as reserved by such City Ordinance; and WHEREAS, this District is agreeable to such vacation, including the sewers lying therein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Those sewer easements reserved to this District by City of St. Louis Ordinance No. 51,844 over the area of former Locust Street, Vine Street and St. Charles Street lying between the west line of Third Street and the east line of Fourth Street, together with the sewers lying therein, are hereby vacated. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 12, 1964.
