AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer and
drainage facilities of the District.
WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from all
the owners of all the land in said area; and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins and is in a watershed within
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and can drain all of
its sanitary sewage into sewers within the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
A tract of land in Part of Lot 7 of Waterhout
Subdivision, a subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri,
according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 17, page 30 of
the St. Louis County Records, which tract is described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the center
line of West Watson Road 40' wide, with the southern prolongation
of the western line of property conveyed to Roy R. Nolting and his
wife by deed recorded in Book 4256, Page 488, St. Louis County
Recorder's Office, said point being also a point on the existing
boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District as extended
by Ordinance No. 880 adopted November 27, 1962; thence westwardly
and southwestwardly along the center line of West Watson Road 40'
wide to the southern prolongation of the western line of the
property conveyed to Charles C. Jensen and wife by deed recorded
in Book 4790, Page 115, St. Louis County Recorder's office; thence
northwardly along said prolongation and along said western line of
Jensen property to its northwestern corner in the north line of
above said Lot 7; thence eastwardly along the north line of said
Jensen property, a distance of 100.88' to the northeastern corner
of said Jensen property, thence southwardly along the eastern line
of said Jensen property and its southwardly prolongation, said
property line and prolongation being also a part of the existing
boundary line of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, to the
point of beginning.
Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation
was signed by all of the property owners of all the land in said
area.
Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to
include the above described area.
Section Four. Certified copies of this ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the
Secretary of State. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 2, 1964.
