HomeMy Public PortalAbout01166 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1166 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 238 (Oakmount Outfall) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 238 (Oakmount Outfall). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 238 (Oakmount Outfall) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 OAKMOUNT OUTFALL Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the southwest line of Washington Avenue (50 feet wide) with the northwest line of St. Mary's Lane (25 feet wide); thence southwestwardly along the northwest line of said St. Mary's Lane to the northeast line of United States Survey No. 2507; thence southwestwardly along a straight line to a point on the eastern line of the Wabash Railroad R.O.W. (100 feet wide), said point being 700 feet south of the northwest line of said U.S. Survey No. 2507 as measured along said east R.O.W. line; thence northwardly along the eastern line of said railroad R.O.W. a distance of 700 feet to the northwest line of said U.S. Survey No. 2507; thence northwardly in a straight line to a point on the southern line of Natural Bridge Road, said point being 650 feet east of the eastern line of said Wabash Railroad R.O.W. as measured along the southern line of Natural Bridge Road; thence southeastwardly along the southern line of Natural Bridge Road to the northernmost corner of Lot 2 in Block 5 of Oehlers Place as recorded in Plat Book 4, Page 10 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along the northwest line of said Lot 2 to the westernmost corner thereof; thence southeastwardly along the southwest line of said Lot 2 to the westernmost corner of Lot 1 in said Block 5; thence northeastwardly, southeastwardly and southwestwardly along the northwest, northeast and southeast lines of said Lot 1 to the southernmost corner of said Lot 1; thence southeastwardly along a 3 straight line across Oakmount Avenue to the northernmost corner of property now or formerly owned by the Town of Normandy as recorded in Deed Book 4757, Page 601 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly along the northeast line of said Town of Normandy property to the easternmost corner thereof, which is also a point on the southern line of property now or formerly owned by Ellen A. Null and Kathleen C. Benoist as described in Parcel #2 in Deed recorded in Book 4559, Page 432 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly and southeastwardly along the southern line of said Null and Benoist property to the southernmost corner thereof, which is also the westernmost corner of property now or formerly owned by Normandy Realty Company as recorded in Deed Book 3303, Page 397 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along the northwest line of said property and its prolongation northeastwardly to the centerline of Natural Bridge Road; thence southeastwardly along the centerline of Natural Bridge Road to its intersection with the northeastern prolongation of the southeast line of property now or formerly owned by Kent Building Corporation as recorded in Deed Book 4093, Page 252 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southwestwardly along said prolongation and along the southeast line of said Kent property to the southernmost corner thereof; thence northwestwardly along the southwest line of said Kent property and continuing along the northwestern prolongation of said southwest line to the centerline of St. Mary's Lane; thence southwestwardly along the centerline of 4 St. Mary's Lane to its intersection with the northwestern prolongation of the southwest line of property now or formerly owned by Paul H. and Alberta T. Phillips as recorded in Deed Book 4467, Page 258 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly along said prolongation and along the southwest line of said Phillips property to its intersection with a line parallel with and 130 feet southeast of the southeast line of said St. Mary's Lane (50 feet wide); thence southwestwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with the southeastern prolongation of the centerline of Washington Avenue; thence northwestwardly along said prolongation and said centerline to its intersection with the northeastern prolongation of the northwest line of St. Mary's Lane; thence southwestwardly along said prolongation to the point of beginning. 5 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 10, 1964.
