HomeMy Public PortalAbout01198 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1198 AN ORDINANCE, amending Section Two of Ordinance No. 1039, adopted October 4, 1963, and revising the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 195 (Fee Fee and Prospect) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, with an emergency clause. WHEREAS, certain land contiguous to the present area of Subdistrict No. 195 (Fee Fee and Prospect) has been annexed to the District and is capable of being efficiently served by the proposed subdistrict sewers and the owners have requested that such land be included in said Subdistrict. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 1039, adopted October 4, 1963, is hereby amended by adding to Subdistrict No. 195 (Fee Fee and Prospect) bounded in Section Two thereof, the area described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection of the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard and the centerline of Old St. Charles Rock Road; thence northwestwardly along said centerline of Old St. Charles Rock Road to its intersection with the centerline of Fee Fee Road; thence southwardly and southwestwardly along said centerline of Fee Fee Road to its intersection with the northwestwardly prolongation of the southwest line of Lot 2 of the Fred Osthoff Estate in U.S. Survey 1203, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 17 page 26 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly along said prolongation and along 2 such southwest line of Lot 2 and its southeastward prolongation to its intersection with aforesaid centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard; thence northwardly along said centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard, a distance of approximately 600 feet to the point of beginning, for the reason that the Board of Trustees finds that such additional area is within the area capable of being efficiently served by the proposed sewer facilities to be constructed in such Subdistrict. Section Two. Section Two of said Ordinance No. 1039, as amended, shall read as follows: "Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 195 (Fee Fee and Prospect) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 3 4 FEE FEE & PROSPECT Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Old St. Charles Rock Road and Lindbergh Boulevard; thence southwardly along the centerline of said Lindbergh Blvd. to its intersection with the southeastern prolongation of the southwest line of Lot 2 of Fred Osthoff Estates as recorded in Plat Book 17, page 26 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along said prolongation and along the southwest line of said Lot 2 and its prolongation, northwestwardly to the centerline of Fee Fee Road; thence northwardly and northwestwardly along said centerline of Fee Fee Road to the centerline of Old St. Charles Rock Road; thence northwestwardly along the centerline of Old St. Charles Rock Road, being part of the western boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and continuing northwardly, eastwardly and northeastwardly along said Metropolitan Sewer District boundary to its intersection with the western prolongation of a line, said line being one hundred and fifty (150) feet north of and parallel with the north line of Block 1 of Pattonville Subdivision, as recorded in Deed Book 17 on page 78 of the St. Louis County Records, said one hundred and fifty (150) feet being measured at right angles to said north line; thence eastwardly along said parallel line and its prolongation eastwardly across Fee Fee Road to its intersection with a line parallel with the centerline of Fee Fee Road and one hundred and seventy (170) feet east of said centerline, said one hundred and seventy (170) feet being measured at right angles 5 thereto; thence southwardly along said parallel line to the north line of the property now or formerly owned by Missouri Baptist Childrens Home, as recorded in Deed Book 2040 on Page 56 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly along said north line and its prolongation southeastwardly to the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard; thence southwestwardly and southwardly along said centerline to the point of beginning. Section Three. The avoidance of delay in the imminent construction of the new sewers within this subdistrict creates an emergency within the meaning of the Plan and this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
