HomeMy Public PortalAbout01203 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1203 AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 537 adopted May 4, 1961, Resolution No. 406, adopted June 15, 1961 and Resolution No. 437 adopted August 31, 1961, and enacting an ordinance establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 133 (West Ladue Lateral) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. WHEREAS, by adoption of Ordinance No. 537 a subdistrict to be known as Subdistrict No. 133 (West Ladue Lateral) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District was established for the purpose of constructing sanitary sewers, and by Resolution No. 406 such improvement was declared to be necessary, and by Resolution No. 437 the construction of such sewers was declared to be in the public interest, and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees, having been informed thereon, finds that a revision of the boundaries of such sewer improvement area is advisable and desires that a public hearing be held before such subdistrict is revised, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Hereby repealed are Ordinance No. 537 adopted May 4, 1961, whereby Subdistrict No. 133 (West Ladue Lateral) was established, and Resolution No. 406 adopted June 15, 1961, declaring the necessity of an improvement in said Subdistrict, and Resolution No. 437 adopted August 31, 1961, whereby the construction of sewers to serve the area of such 2 Subdistrict was declared to be in the public interest. Section Two. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 133 (West Ladue Lateral). Section Three. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 133 (West Ladue Lateral) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 3 WEST LADUE LATERAL Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Spoede Road with the western prolongation of the north line of Middlebrook Estates Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 42 on Page 49 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said prolongation and along the north line of said subdivision to the northeast corner of Lot 3 of said Middlebrook Estates Subdivision; thence southwardly along the east line of said Lot 3 to the southeast corner of said Lot 3; thence southwardly in a straight line across Middlebrook Drive to the northeast corner of Lot 4 of said subdivision; thence southwardly along the east line of said Lot 4 to the southeast corner of said Lot; thence eastwardly along the north line of Alden Acres Addition Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 35 on Page 94 of the St. Louis County Records to the northeast corner of said subdivision; thence southwardly along the east line of said subdivision to the southeast corner thereof; thence westwardly along the south line of said Alden Acres Addition Subdivision and along the south line of Alden Acres Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 38 on Page 17 of the St. Louis County Records to the northeast corner of Lot 3 of Chilton Acres Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 42 on Page 20 of the St. Louis County 4 Records; thence southwardly along the east line of said Lot 3 to the southeast corner of said Lot; thence southwestwardly along the southern line of said Lot 3 to the southwest corner of said Lot; thence northwestwardly along the western line of said Lot 3 to the north line of said Chilton Acres Subdivision; thence westwardly along said north line and continuing along the western prolongation of said north line to the centerline of Spoede Road; thence northwardly along said centerline to the point of beginning. 5 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 10, 1964.
