HomeMy Public PortalAbout01217 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1217 AN ORDINANCE, amending Section Two of Ordinance No. 698, adopted February 19, 1962, and revising the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 180 (Vassier Ave.) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 698, adopted February 19, 1962, is hereby amended by eliminating from the boundaries of Subdistrict No. 180 (Vassier Ave.), as set forth in Section Two thereof, an area described as follows: A tract of land conveyed to Otto S. and Martha Roth by deed recorded in Deed Book 2061, page 61 of the St. Louis County Records, for the reason that the Board of Trustees finds that such property would not be benefited by the proposed sewer facilities to be constructed in such subdistrict. Section Two. Section Two of said Ordinance No. 698 as hereby amended, shall read as follows: "Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 180 shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) VASSIER AVENUE Beginning at the southwest corner of Easton Avenue Heights Subdivision, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 5, Page 8 of the St. Louis County Records; thence east along the south line of said subdivision, being also the north line of St. Charles Rock Road, 60' wide, to its intersection with the east line of said subdivision; thence north along the east line of said subdivision to a point 130' south of the south line of Walther Street, 40' wide, as measured along the east line of said subdivision; thence east along a line parallel to the south line of said Walther Street, 40' wide, 220' to a point; thence north along a line parallel to the east line of said subdivision to the south line of said Walther Street; thence east along the south line of said Walther Street, 40' wide, to its intersection with the east line of Ludwig Place, 40' wide, as shown on the plat of said subdivision; thence north along the east line of said Ludwig Place, 40' wide, to its intersection with the north line of Eckert Street, 20' wide, as shown on the plat of said subdivision; thence west along the north line of said Eckert Street, 20' wide, being also the south line of North Market Street, 60' wide, to the northwest corner of said Easton Avenue Heights Subdivision; thence south along the west line of said subdivision to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 12, 1964. -2-
