HomeMy Public PortalAbout01228 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1228 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 244 (Fordshire Lane) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 244 (Fordshire Lane). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 244 (Fordshire Lane) shall be as follows: (SEE NEXT PAGE) 2 FORDSHIRE LANE Beginning at a point, said point being the westernmost corner of Lot 3 in Fordshire Acres Amended Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 43, Page 92 of the St. Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly along the southwest line of said Fordshire Acres Amended Subdivision and continuing along the southwest line of Fordshire Acres Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 45, Page 47 of the St. Louis County Records, to the westernmost corner of Lot 24 in said Fordshire Acres; thence northeastwardly along the northwest line of said Lot 24 to its intersection with a line parallel with and 200 feet southwest of the centerline of Taylor Road (40 feet wide); thence southeastwardly along said parallel line to the southeast line of Lot 25 in said Fordshire Acres; thence northeastwardly along the southeast line of said Lot 25 and its prolongation northeastwardly to the centerline of said Taylor Road; thence southeastwardly along said centerline to its intersection with the southwestern prolongation of a line parallel with and 100 feet southeast of the southeast line of property now or formerly owned by John E. & Mary T. Shea as recorded in Deed Book 4313, page 223 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northeastwardly along said prolongation and along said parallel line to its intersection with the northeast line of property now or formerly owned by James S. & Helen N. Kelley as recorded in Deed Book 4119, Page 98 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along the northeast line of said Kelley property along the northeast line of said Shea property and continuing 3 along the northwestern prolongation of said northeast line to its intersection with a line parallel with and 150 feet northwest of the northwest line of said Shea property; thence southwestwardly along said parallel line and its prolongation southwestwardly to the centerline of said Taylor Road; thence northwestwardly along said centerline to its intersection with a line parallel with and 100 feet southeast of the centerline of Willow Lane; thence northeastwardly along said parallel line to the northeast line of property now or formerly owned by Otto H. & Florence M. Hoppe, as recorded in Deed Book 4313, Page 221 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along the northeast line of said Hoppe property to the northernmost corner thereof; thence northwestwardly in a straight line across said Willow Lane to the easternmost corner of property now or formerly owned by James A. & J. Tanner as recorded in Deed Book 5072, Page 52 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along the northeast line of said Tanner property and the northeast line of property now or formerly owned by Robert J. & Grace L. Kutcher and recorded in Deed Book 3978, Page 601, of the St. Louis County Records, to the northernmost corner of said Kutcher property; thence southwestwardly along the northwest line of said Kutcher property and its prolongation southwestwardly to the centerline of said Taylor Road; thence northwestwardly along the centerline of Taylor Road to its intersection with the northeastern prolongation of the northwest line of Lots "A" in aforesaid Fordshire Acres Amended Subdivision; thence southwestwardly along said prolongation and 4 along the northwest lines of Lots "A", 1, 2 and 3 in said Fordshire Acres Amended Subdivision to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 12, 1964.
