AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Two Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($1,200,000.00) from the Construction Fund for
the Mississippi River Subdistrict to be used for the purchase from
the City of St. Louis, Missouri, and expenses necessary incidental
thereto, of realty for use for pollution control facilities, said
realty being an improved tract of land in Block 2450 of the City
of St. Louis.
WHEREAS, by enactment of Proposed Ordinance No. 52-65
the Board has authorized the purchase of certain realty from the
City of St. Louis,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Two Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($1,200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Construction Fund for the Mississippi River Subdistrict to be used
for the purchase price and necessary expenses incidental to the
purchase from the City of St. Louis, Missouri, of an improved
tract of land in Block 2450 of said City as a site for a sewage
treatment plant of the Mississippi River Subdistrict.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 12, 1964.
