AN ORDINANCE providing for the vacation of sewer
easements, including the sewers therein, in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis, by Ordinance No. 46,003
approved March 4, 1952 as amended by Ordinance 46,325, approved
January 8, 1953 vacated that portion of Lami Street between Lemp
Avenue and Salena Street, and the northern 185 feet of the north
and south alley between Lemp Avenue and Salena Street, extending
southward from Lami Street in City Block 1391, reserving, however,
easements for sewer purposes therein; and
WHEREAS, the owner of such property has granted this
District a satisfactory substitute easement by instrument dated
the 14th day of October, 1964, and recorded in Book 8546 page 433
in the City of St. Louis Records;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Those sewer easements reserved over the
area of that portion of Lami Street between Lemp Avenue and Salena
Street, and the northern 185 feet of the north and south alley
between Lemp Avenue and Salena Street extending southward from
Lami Street in City Block 1391, together with any sewers lying
therein are hereby vacated, excepting therefrom those portions of
the former street coincident with the easement granted to this
District by the Falstaff Brewing Corporation by instrument dated
October 14, 1964 and recorded in Book 8546 page 433, in the City
of St. Louis Records.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 10, 1964.
