AN ORDINANCE, confirming a contract with G. L.
Tarlton Contracting Company for preparation of the site of the
Bissell Point Sewage Treatment Plant of the Mississippi River
Subdistrict with and emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The contract heretofore let by
the Executive Director to G. L. Tarlton Contracting Company, as
the lowest responsible bidder, for the preparation of the site of
the Bissell Point Sewage Treatment Plant of the Mississippi River
Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant
to bids received and opened on the 6th day of January, 1965, and
formally executed on the 19th day of January, 1965 by said
contractor and by the Executive Director and the Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District, in the following form:
is hereby confirmed.
Section Two. This Ordinance being for the confirmation
of a contract for sewage treatment plant construction and the
plant to be constructed being necessary for the protection of the
public health, constitutes an emergency within the meaning of the
Plan, and this Ordinance shall be and become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 20, 1965.
