HomeMy Public PortalAbout01271 O R D I N A N C E No. 1271 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 251 (Brown and Lindbergh Lateral) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 251 (Brown and Lindbergh Lateral). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 251 (Brown and Lindbergh Lateral) shall be as follows: Ord. No. 1271 2 BROWN AND LINDBERGH LATERAL Beginning at a point said point being the intersection of the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard with the centerline of Brown Road; thence northeastwardly along the centerline of Lindbergh Boulevard to its intersection with the southeastern prolongation of the northeast line of property now or formerly owned by the Shell Oil Company as recorded in Deed Book 5102, page 615 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along said prolongation and along the northeast line of said Shell Oil property to the northernmost corner thereof; thence southwestwardly along the northwest line of said property and continuing along the southwestern prolongation of said northwest line to the northeast line of property now or Formerly owned by P.E.K. Enterprises, Inc. as recorded in Deed Book 4475, page 74 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly along the northeast line of said P.E.K. Enterprises, Inc. property to the northernmost corner thereof; thence southwestwardly along the northwest line of said property and continuing along the northwest line of another parcel now or formerly owned by P.E.K. Enterprises, Inc. as recorded in Deed Book 4224, page 527 of the St. Louis County Records office, to the westernmost corner of its last mentioned parcel; thence southeastwardly along the southwest line of last mentioned P.E.K. Enterprise property to the northwest line of Lindbergh Boulevard; thence southwestwardly along the northwest line of Lindbergh Boulevard to the easternmost corner of property now or Ord. No. 1271 3 formerly owned by L.W. and Nadine H. McNair as recorded in Deed Book 5305, page 53 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwestwardly, southwestwardly and southeastwardly along the northeast, northwest and southwest lines of said McNair property to said southwest lines intersection with a line parallel with and 350 feet northwest of the centerline of said Lindbergh Boulevard; thence southwestwardly along said parallel line to its intersection with the northwestern prolongation of the northeast line of property now or formerly owned by The American Oil Company as recorded in Deed Book 5042, page 536 of the St.Louis County Records; thence southeastwardly along said prolongation to the northernmost corner of said American Oil Company property; thence southwestwardly along the northwest line of said property and continuing along the southwestern prolongation of said northwest line to the centerline of Brown Road; thence southeastwardly along the centerline of Brown Road to the point of beginning. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 25, 1965.
