HomeMy Public PortalAbout01274REPEALED BY ORDINANCE NO. 1536 O R D I N A N C E NO. 1274 AN ORDINANCE, establishing a subdistrict in St. Louis County, Missouri, to be known as Subdistrict No. 253 (Country Aire) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Pursuant to a petition of residents of the District, there is hereby established a subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District within which sewer or drainage facilities may be constructed, reconstructed, or improved at the expense of the subdistrict. Such subdistrict shall be known as Subdistrict No. 253 (Country Aire). Section Two. The boundaries of Subdistrict No. 253 (Country Aire) shall be as follows: 2 COUNTRY AIRE Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Clayton Road (60 feet wide) with the centerline of Ballas Road (60 feet wide); thence southwestwardly along the centerline of Clayton Road to the southern prolongation of the west line of property now or formerly owned by Paul and Shirley Londe, Murray Steinberg & Albert J. Gerber, as recorded in Deed Book 4991, page 556 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along said prolongation and along the west line of said Londe property to its intersection with the south line of property now or formerly owned by the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church, a Corporation, as recorded in Deed Book 4957, page 577 of the St. Louis County Records; thence westwardly along said south line to the southwest corner of said Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church property; thence northwardly along the west line of said Church property to the northwest corner thereof; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Church property to the west line of property now or formerly owned by Richard Daly as recorded in Deed Book 2496, page 431 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along the west line of said Daly property across Jennifer Farm Lane, a private Road, to the northwest corner of said Daly property; thence eastwardly along the north line of said Daly property and its prolongation eastwardly to the centerline of Ballas Road; thence northwardly along the centerline of Ballas Road, to its intersection with the 3 westward prolongation of the north line of Country Aire Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 47, page 13 of the St. Louis County Records; thence eastwardly along said prolongation and along the north line of said Country Aire Subdivision and continuing along the north line of Plat No. 2 of Country Aire Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 53, page 48 of the St. Louis County Records, and the north line of Plat No. 3 of Country Aire Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 59, page 42 of the St. Louis County Records; to the northeast corner of said Plat No. 3; thence southwardly along the east line of said Plat No. 3 of Country Aire Subdivision to the southeast corner thereof, which corner is also on the north line of Section 22, Township 45 North, Range 5 East; thence eastwardly along said Section line to its intersection with the north line of Clayton Road; thence southwardly at right angles to the north line of Clayton Road to the centerline of Clayton Road; thence westwardly and southwestwardly along the centerline of Clayton Road to its intersection with the southern prolongation of the east line of Lot 1 of Parkway East, as recorded in Plat Book 100, page 87 of the St. Louis County Records; thence northwardly along said prolongation and along the east line of said Lot 1 and continuing along the northern prolongation of said east line to the south line of aforesaid Country Aire; thence westwardly along the south line of said Country Aire a distance of 143 feet to a point; thence southwardly along a straight line to a point on the north line of said Lot 1 in Parkway East, said point 4 being 143 feet west of the northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence southwardly 51.20 feet along the west line of a Burial Rights Area as shown on the record plat of said Parkway East, to a point; thence eastwardly a distance of 26.80 feet along the south line of said Burial Rights Area to a point; thence southwardly a distance 15 feet along a west line of said area to a point; thence eastwardly along the southern line of said Burial Rights Area a distance of 66.20 feet to a point, said point being the northwest corner of a Road Easement as shown on said plat of Parkway East; thence southwardly along the westernmost line of said Road Easement, a distance of 25 feet to a point; thence eastwardly along a southern line of said Easement, a distance of 25 feet to point; thence southwardly along a western line of said Road Easement and continuing along the southern prolongation of said western line to the centerline of Clayton Road; thence southwestwardly along the centerline of Clayton Road to the point of beginning. 5 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 25, 1965.
