AN ORDINANCE, transferring to the Improvement Fund the
sum of $7,353.41 from the Operating Funds of Subdistrict No. One
of the River Des Peres Watershed (Creve Coeur-Frontenac Area) and
the sum of $4,440.19 from the Operating Funds of the Gravois Creek
Trunk Subdistrict, and appropriating the same sum for the purchase
of certain special tax bills issued by the District.
WHEREAS, certain lots or parcels of ground have been
subject to liens of special tax bills issued by the District and
it has been determined that such land cannot be efficiently served
or will not be benefited by the sewer improvements for which they
have been charged,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seven Thousand Three Hundred
Fifty-three Dollars and 41 cents ($7,353.41) is hereby transferred
from the Operating Funds of Subdistrict No. One of the River Des
Peres Watershed (Creve Coeur-Frontenac Area) to the Improvement
Fund.
Section Two. The sum of Seven Thousand Three Hundred
Fifty-three Dollars and 41 cents ($7,353.41) is hereby
appropriated from the Improvement Fund to be used for the purchase
of Special Tax Bill No. 1695 evidencing a special benefit
assessment of the District for improvements in Subdistrict No. 215
(Studt and Old Ballas).
Section Three. The sum of Four Thousand Four Hundred
Forty Dollars and 19 cents ($4,440.19) is hereby transferred from
the Operating Funds of the Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict to the
Improvement Fund.
Section Four. The sum of Four Thousand Four Hundred
Forty Dollars and 19 cents ($4,440.19) is hereby appropriated from
the Improvement Fund to be used for the purchase of Special Tax
Bill No. 17031 evidencing a special benefit assessment of the
District for improvements in Subdistrict No. 217 (Gardenville
Trunk).
Section Five. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 25, 1965.
