Leesburg, VA (April 22, 2013) – At 11am on Saturday,
May 4, 2013, Town of Leesburg officials will hold a ribbon
cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of The
Art Station, a new create-your-own-art studio in Village
at Leesburg. The Art Station is located at 1601 Village
Market Boulevard SE, Suite 112. Mayor Kristen Umstattd will officiate the ribbon cutting.
The Art Station is a unique, create-your-own-art studio offering both adult and children’s visual
arts classes in a variety of mediums, including painting, candle-making and stenciling. Designed
to fit all skill and interest levels, The Art Station also provides the perfect creative excursion for
special events, including birthday parties, ladies’ nights out, date nights, bridal or baby showers
and corporate team-building.
“At the Art Station, we give children and adults the opportunity to indulge their inner artists for
an hour or two and then walk out with their own work of art,” explained co-owner Julie Lele.
“Sometimes people are intimidated by the idea of creating art. Our creative guides walk you
through the process step-by-step, making it easy for everyone. You can even enjoy the creative
process over wine and chocolate at The Art Station. It can be a n ew and different way for you
to socialize and celebrate,” added co-owner Gigi Toth.
The Art Station will be open 10am to 9pm, Monday through Saturday, and 11am to 6pm on
Sundays. In addition to parties and special events, The Art Station will be offering a series of
five-day summer camps in June and July. For more information, please visit
