AN ORDINANCE to extend the boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to include an area of St.
Louis County which could be efficiently served by the sewer
facilities of the District.
WHEREAS, a petition to the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been received from the
sole owner of all the land in said area, praying for annexation to
both the District and the Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and
WHEREAS, this area adjoins The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District and such Coldwater Creek Trunk Subdistrict and can
drain all of its sanitary sewage into sewers within the District
and the Subdistrict,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. That the Board finds that the sewer
facilities of the District can efficiently serve the area
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the existing boundary of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, as extended by Ordinance
No. 327, adopted September 28, 1959, which point is further
described as being on the southwest line of U.S. Survey 154, St.
Louis County, Mo., which point lies 453.84 feet northwestwardly of
the intersection of the northeastern prolongation of the northwest
line of property now or formerly owned by John Delvecchio and
wife, as recorded in Book 2784, page 131 of the St. Louis County
Records; thence northwestwardly along the said southwest line of
Survey 154 a distance of 1099.1 feet to a point; thence South 37
degrees 11 minutes West a distance of 1098.73 feet to a point;
thence South 53 degrees 00 minutes East 1100 feet more or less to
its point of intersection with a corner on the existing boundary
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, as extended by
aforesaid Ordinance No. 327; thence northeastwardly along the
existing boundary of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District as
extended by aforesaid Ordinance No. 327, to the point of
beginning.
Section Two. That the petition praying for annexation
was signed by the sole owner of all the land in said area.
Section Three. The corporate boundaries of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby extended so as to
include the above-described area.
Section Four. The boundaries of such Coldwater Creek
Trunk Subdistrict are hereby extended to include such area.
Section Five. Certified copies of this ordinance shall
be filed in the offices of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis
County, the Recorder of Deeds of the City of St. Louis, and the
Secretary of State.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 24, 1965.
